Cattle Crushes
Cavalier Livestock Equipment’s range of cattle crushes has been designed to provide handlers with the best in safety, efficiency and durability. Each cattle crush is fitted with a Cavalier HD Series Head Bail to ensure that beasts are immobilised and operators can treat and maintain livestock in safety.
The cattle crush is one of the most important pieces of equipment in cattle handling and requires its operator to get up close and personal with the beast. With this in mind all Cavalier cattle crushes are fitted with strategically placed gates to allow operators to safety access areas of cattle. Each crush is manufactured primarily from 97 x 42mm cattle rail, 75 x 50mm and 50 x 50mm RHS, galvanised Aussie steel, providing a strong, solid and safe machine.
All Cavalier cattle crushes are designed to promote efficiency and ease of use with single handed operation as a main design feature. This is extremely important as labour becomes harder to get for cattle work and graziers are doing without as much staff as previously.
Durability is forefront when purchasing a cattle crush due to the harsh Australian conditions, mud and mess from cattle and general wear and tear. Stock owners need to feel confident that they are making an investment in a piece of equipment which is going to last the distance and remain as a valuable asset.
Cavalier has implemented a number of unique innovations to their cattle crushes to extend the lifetime further. The Cavalier Beast Base, fitted to the entire range of crushes provides a simple yet highly functional flooring system which greatly extends its life. Cavalier’s Zinc Performance Shield coats the internal working mechanisms of the crush and improves durability.
All of Cavalier’s cattle crushes are manufactured in Gympie Queensland with all major structures and features having been manufactured from high quality galvanised Australian steel. Each crush is backed by a warranty to ensure that you are completely confident in your Cavalier cattle crush.

CAV-AIR Super Squeeze Crush
The Cavalier Pneumatic Crushes are designed to provide the utmost efficiency and safety in cattle handling. All the key working components on these crushes, i.e. Head Bail, Squeeze Gates and Rear Scissor Slide Gate, are fitted with Double Acting Cylinders for easy and safe capture, processing and releasing of cattle. The air driven cylinders major advantage is the immobilisation of the beast after it is restrained in the Head Bail.
